CARELESS TALK © David Barry 2005

Just published and released through Amazon is David Barrys latest novel which can be found from the link on the right.

Possibly unique as the first UK internet soap that occasionally features 'real people', Careless Talk is a weekly serial created and written by David Barry, one of the stars of the 1970s sitcom Please, Sir! and Fenn Street Gang, in which he played the mother-smothered, loud-talking fantasist and confirmed coward, Frankie Abbott.

Manchester has Coronation Street, London has EastEnders, now Tunbridge Wells has Careless Talk. It is, of course, like all other soaps a work of fiction. But unlike other soaps, real characters make fleeting appearances in the storylines, and many of the locations in and around Tunbridge Wells are factual.

Please enjoy reading Careless Talk online, or feel free to print out an episode and enjoy reading it at your leisure. If you enjoy its drama and & humour, you may wish to read David Barry’s first novel Each Man Kills,a police thriller published November 2002, which is available from Amazon.
